No Limits has linked with national charity, the Rees Foundation, to offer a safe social space for care experienced people to access useful information, benefit from discounted food and connect with support all in the friendly and vibrant atmosphere of our cafe!
From mid December, Care experienced people of any age can access food and drink at preferential prices by using a Rees Guest Card, this means at No Limits if you use your card you will benefit from free hot drinks and discounted food ! More info on becoming a Rees Guest Card holder is below.
Established by Foster carer Jan Rees OBE in 2013, the Rees Foundation provides support and financial assistance to care experienced people of any age. After being impressed with No Limits dedication to meeting the needs of people in our community we were the obvious choice to offer a safe social space for care experienced people to access useful information and connect with support.
The Rees Foundation already has affiliated community cafes in other locations, but the collaboration with No Limits is the first of its kind in the South West!
Our work with The Rees Foundation means our team are trained in issues impacting care experienced people and are also being trained in mental health first aid by the Rees Foundation.
Being part of the Rees Cafe network means we can sign post Care leavers & the care experienced to social, emotional & financial support offered by the Rees Foundation.
We will have an I-Pad solely for Rees Guest Card holders to use in the cafe which allows access to the internet including some of the great services offered by the Support Workers located at the Rees Foundation. A representative from Devon County Council Children’s Services also acts as a Rees Champion to promote the project.
A Rees Guest Card is available to all care experienced people, and provides free hot drinks and 50% discount on food offered at the café! To obtain your Rees Guest Card go to the Rees website, www.reesfoundation.org, or call 0330 094 5645 or 01527 916559
